Biography

Dr. Lijia Chang worked at First Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University Medical Centre Mannheim (UMM), University of Heidelberg. He earned a PhD in Neuroscience in 2020 from Chiba University Faculty of Medicine and subsequently served there as an Assistant Professor. He has received multiple competitive scholarships/awards, including the 2019 China Scholarship Council award for outstanding self-funded international students, the Japan MEXT learning incentive support, the Fujii Medical Scholarship, Sasakawa Medical Fellowship Program. To date, he has published about 70 SCI papers as first or co-author papers overall, with H index of 35 from Google Scholar. Moreover, he has led one Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) project and participated in several projects funded by JSPS and Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED).
