Biography

A senior consultant in family medicine and primary care researcher and epidemiologist in the Department of Family Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). My work focuses on the intersection of evidence-based practice in family medicine and digital innovation. I serve as an associate expert for the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA) and sit on expert review panels for the Danish Diabetes Academy, the Malaysian Palm Oil Board, and Health Systems Research Institute. My recent work focuses on responsible AI integration, AI tool development, and digital health implementation. Currently, I lead the development of micro-credentials on generative AI for medical and health research in postgraduate programmes in UPM, and contribute to new modules and training about AI in healthcare in my faculty.
