Dr. Anuwat Kaewchiangwang is a Thai physician born in 1968, holding an M.D. from Khon Kaen University and multiple board certifications in family medicine, preventive medicine (epidemiology and community mental health), as well as master’s degrees in public administration and community health development. He has served as a hospital director in Mukdahan Province, contributed to numerous academic and policy committees including Thailand’s Royal College of Family Physicians, and conducted international study visits on healthcare systems in China, South Africa, Cuba, the Nordic countries, New Zealand, and Singapore. His research includes epidemiological outbreak investigations, primary care system evaluations during COVID-19, and an award-winning essay on family medicine, with international research presented at the WONCA Europe Conference in Portugal.
