Biography

My name is Reinier van Linschoten. I am a GP in training and a postdoctoral researcher at Erasmus MC, where I focus on digital innovation and AI in primary care. I am currently developing my own research line, centred on two main projects: Evaluating the impact and effectiveness of ambient scribing in general practice, with particular attention to clinical reasoning and patient–provider communication. Designing, developing, and validating a Dutch medical LLM for general practice in collaboration with a technical university and an AI startup. In addition, I serve as an advisory member and GP liaison to the Dutch generative AI consortium.
