Biography

After a PhD in Environmental Engineering on infectious diseases modelling applications and other experience in life sciences-related data science, Lorenzo has joined Springer Nature as a scientific editor in January 2020. He has led efforts to disseminate digital and AI-based health research, with specific interests in all the ramifications of bringing technology to real world scenarios. First at Nature Communications, he later joined Nature Medicine in 2022 and is now part of the newly launched Nature Health as senior editor, where he keeps handling research related to digital and AI applications to population health.
