Dr. Lan XUE is a Distinguished Chair Professor and Dean of Schwarzman College, Director of Institute for AI International Governance, and Dean Emeritus of School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University. He also serves as the Chair of National Expert Committee on the Governance of Next Generation of AI in China, an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University, and a Non-Resident Senior Fellow of the Brookings Institution.
His teaching and research interests include science, technology, and innovation policy.
Professor Xue has served as a grant reviewer for both international and local research funding bodies, contributing his expertise to evaluate and support high-quality research proposals.
